👉NEW SIGNS. NEW QUESTIONS. 👀 Over three weeks into the investigation in Tucson — and “No Trespᴀssing” signs are now posted outside Nancy Guthrie’s home. Why the sudden change? Standard privacy move… Or a signal something has changed in the case?

More than three weeks after 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie vanished from her home in Tucson, Arizona, new developments at the property have drawn fresh attention to the ongoing investigation.

On February 24, reporter Brian Entin, who has been covering the case in Tucson since Guthrie was first reported missing on February 1, shared a video showing workers placing “No Trespassing” signs around the outside of the home. Entin posted the footage on social media, noting the sudden appearance of the signs outside the residence where Guthrie was last known to be.

While the purpose of the signs appears straightforward—keeping the public off the property—the timing raised questions among people closely following the case online.

Some observers were less focused on the signs themselves and more interested in who authorized them. One social media user suggested that if law enforcement ordered the signs, it could indicate that authorities currently have control over the property as part of the investigation. If the decision came from family members, however, it might suggest a different reason, such as a desire to protect the home from curious onlookers.

Others wondered why the property had not been secured earlier with police tape if investigators considered it important to restrict access. “Day 24 and they’re just now putting up no trespassing signs?” one commenter wrote, reflecting a question many people had about the timing.

At the same time, some supporters urged the public to respect the family’s privacy. One commenter noted that even though the case involves a well-known public figure, the family still deserves safety and boundaries while authorities continue their search.

Earlier the same day the signs appeared, Savannah Guthrie—the Today show host and Nancy Guthrie’s daughter—made another emotional public appeal for help locating her mother. In a message shared on Instagram, Guthrie announced that her family is offering a reward of up to $1 million for information that leads to Nancy Guthrie’s return.

In her message, Guthrie acknowledged the painful uncertainty the family is facing. She said they hope for answers and want to bring their mother home, whatever the outcome may be.

Nancy Guthrie, who is also the mother of Annie Guthrie and Camron Guthrie, was last seen on January 31 following a family dinner at Annie’s house. Authorities believe she was taken from her Tucson home during the early morning hours of February 1. Concern grew when friends noticed she did not appear at her usual church service, prompting a missing person report.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department, working alongside the FBI, continues to investigate the case and search for the missing Arizona woman.
