🚨👉NEW: Poll Reveals America’s Reaction To Trump’s SOTU Address

President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address drew generally positive reactions from viewers, according to a post-speech survey conducted by CNN in partnership with SSRS. The poll found that nearly two-thirds of people who watched the address said their response was at least somewhat positive, including 38% who reported a very positive reaction. As is common with major political speeches, the audience that tuned in tended to include people who were already closely following political developments.

The survey also showed an increase in confidence among viewers after the speech. Prior to the address, 54% of respondents said they believed the president’s policies would guide the country in the right direction. After the speech, that figure rose to 64%. In addition, a larger share of viewers said they felt the president’s priorities were aligned with what the country needs.

Immigration and economic policy were among the main themes highlighted in the address. About 62% of viewers said they believed the president’s approach to these issues would move the country in the right direction. Immigration, in particular, continues to be a major topic in national political discussions, and many respondents felt the president devoted substantial attention to it during the speech.

Economic concerns, including inflation and the cost of living, were also addressed. Slightly more than half of respondents said the president gave the issue the appropriate amount of focus, while some viewers said they hoped for more detailed proposals. Opinions on trade policy and tariffs were more mixed, reflecting ongoing debates about balancing economic growth with consumer costs.

Although State of the Union addresses rarely produce major shifts in overall approval ratings, the survey suggests the speech reinforced support for the president’s policy agenda among those who watched.
